The Urethra Clinic is a brainchild of Dr Vikram Shah Batra, a committed Reconstructive Urologist, Neuro urologist and Female Genitourinary Surgeon. It is an effort to come to rescue of all patients who need reconstructive urology surgery in a personalized manner. It is a passion to treat optimally a disease which has long been ignored for lack of substantial cure and repeated surgeries. Dr Vikram Shah Batra has previously served as Consultant Reconstructive Urology at Institutes such as Medanta The Medicity, Gurgaon and is currently a Consultant urology and Reconstructive Surgery at sir Ganga Ram hospital. He is associated with various Not for Profit Organizations committed at providing healthcare to the poorest of the poor. He is associated to International Volunteer organization IVU- Med which with Societe Internationale Urologiae entrusts in imparting latest knowhow to the underdeveloped world. He regularly conducts national and International Reconstructive Urology Conferences and Workshops to benifit trainees and bring the contemporary medical practice to India. He has trained from best of the Medical Institutes such as Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr RML Hospital and PGIMER, SMS Medical College and received Minimally Invasive Urology and Robotic training . He is a fellowship trained Reconstructive Urologist from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Pune which is a GURS, an international Reconstructive Urology society reconized Center for Fellowship programme.
